Baseball: Beavs, Ducks Lose Series.

College Baseball:

Number 18 Oregon gave away a four-run lead and lost 10 to 7 to Stanford yesterday and dropped the three game series after scoring 17 runs in Saturday's win. The Ducks stay in the Bay area taking on the University of San Francisco today. First pitch against the Dons is at 12:05.

Number 5 Oregon State was swept by Cal over the weekend. All three games were one-run losses. The loss to Nevada on Wednesday was also by a run. The Beavers will try to stop the four-game losing streak in Hillsboro tomorrow against Portland.

College Softball:

Number 20 Oregon beat OSU in an emotional senior day for the Ducks. It clinched the series win and marked the end of the conference rivalry series with the Beavers.

MLB: 

The Mariners beat Colorado 10 to 2 yesterday in the finale of the double header forced by Friday’s snow-postponed game. Emerson Hancock picked up the win going six innings and allowing an earned run. In game 1 the Ms fell 2 to 1 in 10 innings. The game was scoreless through 9. Seattle takes the series from the Rockies, as they travel South to take on Texas tomorrow.

The Giants lost to Arizona  5 to 3 yesterday. Two of the five runs were unearned by the Diamondbacks. San Francisco ends up splitting the four game series and welcomes the Met tonight starting at 6:45.

Soccer:

The Portland Thorns beat Houston for the first win of their season. The 4 to 1 Final stops the four match slide.

The Portland Timbers led twice but ended up with a 2 - 2 draw with Columbus. It marked their 4th tie of the season against 2 wins and 3 losses. That puts the Timbers in 11th in the Western Conference.

Softball and Baseball: Redmond against Summit, Crook County plays the Dalles, Madras has Estacada.
