(Springfield, OR)  --  A two-year-old girl is listed in critical condition, following an attack by a dog in Springfield.  Police say the attack happened shortly before six p.m. Sunday at a home on Olympic Street in Springfield.  Officials say the toddler's father was bitten in the face as he was trying to rescue the child.  Police say the large, male pit bull, and another dog that was nearby at the time of the attack, are in quarantine.
