Hernandez Helps Lead AL To All-Star Win

(Minneapolis, MN)  --  The American League will have home-field advantage in the World Series this season after a 5-3 win over the National League in the 2014 All-Star Game in Minneapolis.  Seattle Mariners ace Felix Hernandez pitched a scoreless first inning for the AL, allowing one hit and recording two strikeouts.  The Yankees' Derek Jeter went two-for-two and scored a run in his final All-Star Game.  Mariners closer Fernando Rodney walked one batter and struck out another in the eighth inning.
