I come from Southern California by way of Michigan. I worked for a small radio station in Orange County, CA, for 2 years before coming to Bend and signing on with KBND. 

 

After a lifetime of work in County government in SoCal, this baby boomer decided to try another profession, radio. I attended the School of Radio and Television Broadcasting  from 1998-2000, where her "finals" project is still used as a teaching tool today. I love almost every aspect of radio and is involved in day-to-day operations at KBND and Combined Communications.

 

Hobbies..who has time for hobbies! Seriously, I enjoy spending time with my grandkids here in Bend, gardening, cooking and writing. I live in Bend with my 2 cats, Stella & Poppy and a furry black Pomeranian, Larry Grizz (who should have been named Bob Barker- he "talks" a lot!).
