(Keizer, OR)  --  One person is in the hospital after being rescued from a car that plummeted down an embankment and into a creek near Keizer.  Police say the driver was trapped inside of the vehicle, which landed, nose first, in the creek.  Rescue crews pulled the driver through the rear window of the car.  There's no word on the extent of the driver's injuries.

  • Chains or Traction Tires required on the mountain passes and Highway 97 South of Bend.
  • Traffic signals at US 97 and Pinebrook Blvd. turned off permanently.
  • Lane closure on Boyd Acres Road at Ross Road; 7am - 4:30pm through December 10
