Victim Of Hwy 26 Explosion Ruled Suicide

(Rhododendron, OR)  --  Officials say an explosion that killed a Portland man on U.S. Highway 26 in Clackamas County was a suicide.  Sheriff's deputies say 24-year-old Jeffrey Roger Williams caused the Thursday morning blast with a mixture used to make targets explode during shooting practice.  Forest Service officials say the explosion created a hole about eleven feet wide about 25 feet from the edge of the highway.
