Toddler's Finger Caught In Escalator, Severed

(Tigard, OR)  --  A two-year-old boy is being treated, after one of his fingers was severed when it became caught in an escalator at the Washington Square Mall.  Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue officials say the escalator near the food court was taken apart and the severed finger retrieved for possible reattachment.  The toddler also sustained injuries to a second finger.  There's no word yet on his current condition.
