Bob Sanders left Central Oregon Veterans Outreach Memorial Day riding his bicycle to the Iwo Jima Memorial in Washington DC. His mission was "Biking for Vets" and all the donations (over $7000) came directly to COVO. He arrived last week at the memorial and will return to Bend this Friday 8/15. Next Thursday 8/21 from 4 - 6 PM we will host a reception for Bob here at COVO to thank him for everything he has done for COVO, and ask him to share first hand the stories of his travel across country. Refreshments will be served. It would be our pleasure if you would join us in celebrating Bob's return.
