McKenzie Art Festival

The Emerald Art Center is proud to announce the 11th Annual McKenzie Arts Festival. Mark your calendar for Saturday and Sunday August 25th and 26th. The hours are 10-6 both days. Only 15 minutes east of Springfield on Highway 126 at the McKenzie Fire and Training Center in Leaburg. Come see 45 artist’s work in oil, watercolor, pastel, jewelry, pottery glass, wood and more, complete with music and good food. There will also be hands-on projects for children. St. Thomas Academy's Summer Carnival

From 11:00AM to 3:00PM

Non-Profit event. We are very excited to start the 2012-2013 school year in our new building and have planned a day of fun! We will have free activities (while supplies last) for children 12 and under, such as face painting, sand art, build a pinwheel, and more! We will have paid to play carnival games only $.25 ea to play, concessions for purchase, and of course prizes! Redmond Police Dept. and Redmond Fire & Rescue will be on site as well for the kids to meet and play on the equipment. The Carnival is a not a fundraiser, rather a community coming together to share in day of fun and excitement! St. Thomas is located on the corner of 19th and Maple Streets, Redmond.

Airshow of the Cascades

The Airshow of the Cascades 4 pm to 10 pm on Friday; 8 am - 5 pm on Saturday. Military Displays, Classic Car Show, Food Booths,Beer Garden, Live Music. There will be over 100 airplanes on display along with fireworks and aerial acts with spins and loops in the sky. The Headliner Airplane will be a Russian Mig 17 flying along with a A-26 from the WWII era. Lots to see and do for the entire family. All military veterans are FREE courtesy of Budweiser. Adults $8.00 and Children under 12 FREE
