Julia comes from Southern California by way of Michigan. She worked for a small radio station in Orange County, CA, for 2 years before coming to Bend and signing on with KBND. 

After a lifetime of work in County government in SoCal, this baby boomer decided to try another profession, radio. Julia attended the School of Radio and Television Broadcasting  from 1998-2000, where her "finals" project is still used as a teaching tool today. Julia loves almost every aspect of radio and is involved in day-to-day operations at KBND and Combined Communications.

Hobbies..who has time for hobbies! Seriously, Julia enjoys spending time with her grandkids here in Bend, gardening, cooking and writing. She lives in Bend with her 2 cats, Stella & Poppy.
