U.S. Cellular invites the public to escape the cold and watch the U.S. Cellular Rail Jam from inside the heated U.S. Cellular Café. Free coffee and hot chocolate will be provided. U.S. Cellular will also provide a charging station where people can come in to recharge their cell phone batteries for free and enjoy their favorite tunes mixed by a live DJ from a BlackBerry mixing board.
For the fourth consecutive year, U.S. Cellular is proud to sponsor Bend WinterFest and announce the return of the U.S. Cellular Rail Jam, a two-day competition of extreme snowboarding and skiing. The 2010 U.S. Cellular Rail Jam will feature a larger field of 40 national and regional snowboarders and skiers competing for our largest cash and prize giveaways ever. Friday night will open with the skiing competitions. Skiers will compete in three rounds to determine the finalists. The top five skiers will proceed to the final round to determine a champion. Snowboarders have the stage on Saturday. Throughout the day, the field of riders will be narrowed to five finalists and the championship is set for Saturday night. U.S. Cellular invites the public to escape the cold and watch the U.S. Cellular Rail Jam from inside the heated U.S. Cellular Café. Free coffee and hot chocolate will be provided. U.S. Cellular is encouraging a $1 donation for any DJ requests and the proceeds will benefit Saving Grace, a provider of support and services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, date rape and stalking. U.S. Cellular customers can visit any of the company’s Bend or Redmond stores to pick up a Bend WinterFest button good for free admission to the event.
