A Jefferson County sheriffs deputy is on paid administrative leave pending an investigation. News channel 21 is reporting that long time deputy Ervey Dominiguez has been the subject of a query since May 2nd. Undersheriff Jim Adkins says he has had to put to rest a number of “rumors” about the investigation. Dominguez’s neighbors are saying the investigation centers around a “stupid mistake”. Adkins says the investigation should be wrapped up next week, and then he will give out more details.
