Bend Housing Shows 'Uptick'

Posted on Friday, October 10, 2008 (PST)

It is good news during uneasy times… The housing market in Bend had a nice uptick for the month of September. An official with the Central Oregon Association of Realtors says September is traditionally an “up” month and adds we should watch for two or three months to make sure the rise is genuine. But he is happy to see that there have been more homes sold lately. Officials believe the trend will continue into next year as lenders are showing more confidence in helping people buy or stay in their homes.
