The Bend Band of Brothers, a 53-member veterans group will unveil a new display honoring “Oregon Most Honorable”- the 109 veterans who have been killed during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The display will feature 109 medallions with the soldier’s name and date of death along with their branch of the military’s symbol. The unveiling will be at Jakes’ Diner at noon on Monday. It will then travel around the state before settling at the Deschutes Historical Museum.
