A 46-year-old Renton, Washington man dies over the weekend while competing in a triathlon at Wickiup Reservoir. Deschutes County Sheriff's officials say Patrick J. Findlay was in a swimming event, when he came up to an event volunteer’s boat and said he needed help. He then collapsed and was rushed to shore. Medics were unable to resuscitate him and he was pronounced dead at the scene. He was staying in the Sunriver area with family while participating in the event.
