You may have noticed all of the American Flags in downtown Bend today. They are not just for the Pole Peddle Paddle. Today (Sat) is Armed Forces Day. The 200 flags in downtown Bend and on Veterans Memorial Bridge honor all veterans. Flags for our youngest veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice are displayed among the displays in two locations: "Honor Court" and Veterans Memorial Bridge: Those being honored include are LCPL Randy Newman, Capt. Aaron Contreras, Sgt. Zachary McBride, and Cpl. Jessica Ellis.
