The Oregon Department of Human Services is hosting a public meeting this week in Bend to gather public comment about it proposed budget for 2009 through 2011. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 14th, from 1:30 until 4:30 at the DHS Office, at 1300 NW Wall. Speakers will include DHS director—Dr. Bruce Goldberg. He will present information about the budget process, key programs, and what they are doing to streamline services.
