Drivers found getting around a real challenge this morning. A five-vehicle pileup on Highway 97 near the High Desert Museum closed a portion of the highway for a brief time. Another vehicle slid off the southbound Parkway near the Colorado exit, slowing traffic in that area. Local dispatchers reported numerous vehicles sliding off the roads all morning throughout the area.
