Bend Council Committee Considers City Manager Search

Posted on Friday, November 09, 2007 (PST)

Accepting resumes for a new city manager in Bend could start as soon as early January. That’s one decision that comes out of an afternoon meeting among three Bend councilors discussing how to replace Andy Anderson. Councilors last month opting to terminate his contract. The council is discussing using a search firm, and having proposals back from those search firms by early December. A number of options are being discussed to get public input, such as meeting with various groups, and even setting up a special email address to get your comments.  Bend City Councilors Peter Gramlich, Lynda Johnson, and Mark Capell are on the committee.
